WFW:John 15:10

"Obedience is better than sacrifice". This is a very popular quote next to "easier said than done".

His Words is so powerful that if we failed to obey it,  we will be missing a lot in  this journey of life. We may take into consideration (which was often abused) the reality that we are all vulnerable to sin but we must not forget as well that God gave us that wisdom and discernment to think and differentiate the right from wrong. Obedience became a great struggle for every man. Why? Because in obedience, there is a great sacrifice that we need to hurdle. The sacrifice of being selfless and logical to the things that is right.

Think about this:

IF you obey my commands, YOU will remain in my love... The word "IF" here connotes a condition that everyone of us must follow. Simple logic: IF we will not obey His commands, we will not remain in His love...

For the second thought, I firmly believe that God's love never fails but let us  NOT make it a reason to fail Him again and again...

We must learn how to obey God and His commands.

Pinay Mommy Online's Thanksgiving Giveaways

Pinay Mommy Online is hosting her Thanksgiving giveaways with big cash prizes at stake. Mind you, I've been joining lots of Giveaway Contest but haven't been awarded yet lol!... well, who knows this would be my FIRST TIME ;)

The mechanics is very simple. Just write about the things that you are thankful for. Be it for last year or at present times. See? To give you that extra urge to really take part on this contest the prizes are the following:

Oops, I know how excited you are to join but allow me first to share with you all the tings that I am grateful for.

I forgot when did I got my domain (age factor?) but just in case I won, it would be great to have my blog hosted and undergo a total makeover! weee.. so exciting indeed!

And so, what are those things that I would be thankful for?

♥First, I thank God that I reached the age of 29 and still counting ;)
♥Second, I thank God for the big event that will change my life or shall I say lead me to another step of challenges which will be happening soon! (Sshh, I am getting married ;)
♥Third, I thank God's unfailing love and faithfulness. I know I have lots of shortcomings and failures but yet His love is so overwhelming.
♥Fourth, I thank God for giving me a mentor, boss and real friend in the person of my two bosses (Sir Cesar and Sir Melo). I am thankful to God for using them as an instrument in opening great opportunities for me.
♥Fifth, I thank God not only for my own family, but for my external families as well as my Lighthouse Iponan whose love and encouragement is undeniable.
♥Sixth, I thank God for God's provision that has yet to come in preparation for my Big Day!

God has been so good to me that amidst tears and well, sometimes frustrations, He always lifted me up.

In totality, I thank God for everything!

That's it!

Are You Not Threatened By The Global Warming?

This morning, my phone alarms at 5:30 but I noticed that it is yet too dark to wake up. So I just simply turned it off and went back to sleep. When I wake up, it is already 6:30 but still it seems like much earlier than the actual time. I was left with no other choice than to get up to prepare for work. After taking a bath I made a cup of coffee and a bread then went off for work. The rain shower compelled me to take a tricycle from my place to MetroBank which is just few meters from the school.

The climate now is indeed unpredictable. Such climate change brought noted disasters on some areas not only here in the Philippines but on other part of the world. The very evident of it is the global warming which causes colder region to experience El Niño and the tropical region with La Niña. Call it human factor but it is still a fact that human have greater contributions in the sudden change of the climate. We cannot deny it that unconsciously we became part of the reasons why we experienced such dilemma. And yet we are the first to complain.

Some people have learned their lessons while others are still unmindful of what has been happening around him. Protecting our Mother Nature has become a slogan anymore. Allow me to quote a particular comment posted by a certain fellow named  "Curt" two years ago on the issue about Climate Change and I quote:

"I see this events just as a 'political spin' or 'marketing spin' of how to buy more time for not acting and not taking any responsibility, at all. Sadly, very many people are going to die and suffer a lot, before there are going to be greater changes about this topic, if ever. Every single week new coal power plants are opening all over the planet, millions of new cars are sold, thousands and thousands of new factories are opening in developing countries, huge forests are cut, etc. President George W.Bush is not supporting, President Vladimir Putin is not supporting, China and India are not supporting, Gordon Brown is not supporting, etc.
Very sad, but true."

Indeed, very sad, IF true.

There might be some actions taken but do you think we can still really save Mother Earth from its ultimate destruction? Let's include that in our prayers.
