We've been to a friend's house last Sunday after the church service and we stayed there til evening because both kids were so busy playing. My friend lend her daughter's toy drum to my son and I can really see that my son will love playing musical instruments too just like his father. He playfully beat the drum with the stick obviously enjoying what he did. Then it occurred to me that someday when my son will have proper school training, I will also let him study about musical instruments like the drums. I know his father can teach him too. I remember also one time when my Hubby brought home a new set of drum sticks, my son insisted of playing with it beating it anywhere like the wall, table and chairs. Well, I could only hope to myself that my son will excel on whatever skills he would love to develop. And when he will consider learning the drums, I would love him to try the classic ludwig junior outfit drum set at guitar center. For sure both father and son will enjoy it.

Local election is fast approaching and many aspiring candidates are already preparing their jingle, which, I guess, only happens in the Philippines. I remember how my husband earned money out of it together with selected members of the choir group in our congregation. A certain politician, who is also a common friend of our minister, approached them once asking them to make an election jingle for him. He preferred to choose them because he wants to come up with a wholesome election jingle that will leave a lasting impression among his constituents. In short span of time (as requested), the jingle was completed with only two vocals, and a multiplex. But the output was like the jingle was done with a complete set of accompaniments like drums on the background. My husband did the tricks with his little knowledge in audio and music editing.

My husband’s passion for music doesn't limit him to just playing the guitar, beating the drum or any other musical instruments. I was amazed on how he can edit background music with audio or musical effects. He can add effects like it was really real or done actually. I know most of the guys knew about it yet, my man doesn't really have a formal training on this area. He is only a sound technician in our church. But his curiosity brought him to learn beyond the ordinary. He loves exploring the net to find tips on how to improve such skills. Right now, he is also curious about bfd2 and hopes to have one so he could really maximize his potentials.

Yes without Him I am nothing. God has proved it to me so many times... and He proved it again to me this time. When I was in the situation wherein I have no one to run to except Him. Again, God's answered to my prayer saved me when I found myself in a very awkward predicament... that if not because of His intervention, I do not know if where will I be right now.

I declared God's awesome goodness, His present help in time of needs...His faithfulness in my life is immeasurable... In spite of my unfaithfulness... my defiance... He loves me unconditionally...

To Him I bring back all the glory and honor!

Music has already been a part of me since my younger years. I may not have my own album but I have my own composition! In fact I love to write a song, that’s one of my passions aside from art. I love that soulful type of music. If I’ll be given an option on what to bring if I’ll be deserted in an island, definitely it would be my mp3 player loaded with my favorite songs. Wow, undeniably I can live alone with music. I am not into rap or noisy type of music, they are just a plain sound for me, and apparently I don’t consider it as music at all. Number one on my play lists are those songs that somehow can inspire me to go on with my life no matter what. I love gospel songs or those that are inspirational. I love my collections from Hillsongs Australia, they are not only uplifting but soul soothing as well. Whenever I hear any of their songs, I am always reminded of how faithful and loving our God is to us despite all our shortcomings. I always see to it that I have a copy of the lyrics of their songs. Of course, I’m not bothered because the internet is always of help to me on my research. It’s not difficult to find a particular song or a lyric with the help of so many search engines and one of this is the Queen Torrent search engine.  I am not updated to the latest track because most of them don’t make sense at all. I just don’t know what comes onto their mind why they opt to produce songs that has no meaning and will not create even just a little impact to the society; well that’s their freedom of expression. As for me, music will continue to inspire me as long as I live.
